His technique is already better than Tommy's. His pocket presence is already better. And who cares about reading a defense, because Tommy doesn't do that either.

Yesterday's performance from Tommy should show why O'Brien is coming in the spring. He'll be given every chance to compete for the starting job. Will he win it? Maybe not but he's not coming to redshirt in'16.

 
I'm so glad POB is joining the team in December. He will pick up the offense quickly and challenge for the starting position as a true freshman. Tommy is not a QB and I don't want to spend the entire 2016 season with him trying to learn how to be a QB.

 
The more I watch Armstrong, the more hopeful I get that O'Brien will finally be a Nebraska QB that's as good as advertised.
