I doubt that matters much. Pretty much every school he's looking at will have a high-caliber 2016 recruit. For that matter, O'Brien's ratings are fairly comparable to Gebbia's.

Gebbia will likely be committing before the 2016 season starts. Even then, it's unlikely Patterson will be playing much this year. So he'd have a year enrolled on Gebbia but it's not like Gebbia would be competing against a returning starter.

But Ole Miss scares me.
