Wow Braylon isn't to far off of everyones prized recruit for next year (Aaron Green). Don't get me wrong we need Green because we need to stock pile this talent because you need 2-3 backs in todays football.

Can't wait to see if Braylon can get on the field with Burkhead and Helu.

Article on Yahoo! talking about players from the Midwest shunning the Big 10. Mentions Heard.

With one of the top-ranked prospects in Ohio, five-star linebacker Jordan Hicks, opting for Texas over Ohio State Friday morning, my Yahoo colleague Dan Wetzel notes an incredible trend in the Buckeye State: Of the top four recruits in Ohio this year according to Rivals, none are headed to OSU. In fact, between five-star headliners Latwan Anderson (West Virginia), Jordan Hicks (Texas) and Spencer Ware (LSU) and elite running back Braylon Heard (Nebraska), not one of the top four talents in the Midwest's most talent-rich state is even staying in the Big Ten.

Please excuse the thread-jack, but this is a good example for NU to not think about joining the Big 10+1.

In all fairness to OSU, however, the Buckeyes didn't offer Braylon a scholarship. So they dodn't really "miss out" on him.

Dang! Could've had 2 honorable mentions! Exciting dude tho no joke.

Not sure if he was planning to take the ACT this Saturday (I seem to recall someone saying this but can't find it now), but with the big snow storm all of the tests around central Ohio are being cancelled, and Youngstown doesn't look like it's doing any better.
