yep Rich Fischer found out he was going to commit to Cal and called and talked to him visiting us for Big Red Weekend first.....and the rest is history.

For what it's worth, UCLA has two RB recruits and we only have one.

other than reading some of the posters who are "in the know," what also keeps me optimistic is that we haven't recently pursued/offered other RBs like Newby.
