Bryan Munson was just on 1620 and described Wald's style of play as violent. I like it! I have my fingers crossed.

I would be very, very unhappy if we did not land Mason Wald. He is in my top 3 for this class. His style of play is great.

yeah I agree this kids a beast!!!! He hits HARD!!! can you imagine him roaming back there at safety and someone trys running up the middle? WHAMMMM!!

Mike'l Severe on 1620 said the highlight that stood out for him was Wald hitting the QB for a 1 yard LOSS on a QB sneak. Oh Yeah!

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini visited Vestavia teammates Mason Wald and Justin Rogers at the school today. Both players visited Nebraska over the weekend and were offered scholarships to the traditional Big 12 powerhouse.

"Nebraska's still my favorite, but I haven't committed yet,'' Wald told The News today.
