NU tickets go quickly
Nebraska's remaining single-match volleyball tickets weren't available for long Tuesday. They went on sale at 8 a.m., and they were gone in less than an hour.
It marked the fourth straight year that single-match tickets at the NU Coliseum sold out in a matter of minutes, and the Huskers' sellout streak at the Coliseum will reach at least 149 matches in 2010.
Fans still can purchase tickets for NU's Aug. 21 red-white scrimmage, and seats remain for the Sept. 11 contest against Illinois at the Devaney Center. Those tickets may be purchased at Huskers.com, over the phone at 800-8BIGRED or in person at the Nebraska ticket office. More than 7,500 tickets already have been sold for the match against the Illini.
Tickets for Nebraska's season-opening AVCA Showcase appearance on Aug. 28 and 29 at Qwest Center Omaha may be purchased at Ticketmaster.com and at Ticketmaster outlets.
