I guess we got TMart quarterbacking the offense, and EMart quarterbacking the defense (potentially?)

tim_may on rivals suggests that this is independent of Whaley's performance, and that the plan all along was for both to get their shot. Others are seeing this as a demotion, with Whaley's struggles. I think that may have played a role, whereas if Whaley had been lights out we might be building on that performance instead. Then again, maybe not.

We'll see how Eric rolls with his.
