I mean, yes, we didn't have a great game, but that was just BullSh&8%t. I mean, that showed no respect to our D, who had a very good game.
Agree completely - people want to blame Grix - and he did get just used tonight - but I saw quit a few plays where our safeties should have been making the play.Yeah. I was trying to think of any particular NU standouts, though. The D, as a unit, had some REALLY great drives. Maybe it's me, but I'd rather see an effective unit than a single force. We really, and obviously, need to strengthen our DBs. Just think what our d would be with just "Fairly decent" dbacks.
I don't know if it's a dback coaching issue or what... but just dream with me... drrreeeeaaaammm.
:yeah Seeing two sooner players up there absolutely rubbed me the wrong way. I mean sure we probably didnt have one single stand out player, but I've seen guys up there before that had like 5 tackles and that was it!!I think what bothered me the most, is I have NEVER seen the players of the game being from the same team, and I have watched a lot of college football in my time. Can anyone else remember a situation where that has occured before????????????????
I would have gone with BJAX for the Huskers even though he didn't play the whole game because he was effective on the ground when he was in, and losing him changed the dynamics of the game.
Yeah, but Rufus Alexander was much better. And so was Paul Thompson.Didn't we have a walk on kicker get player of the game a few years ago for making one kick against Colorado. IMO, Cryer should of been player of the game tonight. He was a beast on the line.
Yeah, he was saying that they have to double check with someone to see if OU would get $2,000 or just $1,000....I don't think it is right they gave it to both players, especially since it goes into a scholarship fund!I don't think we are alone in wondering about this. From the sound of the announcers voice he seemed baffled by the whole thing.
