Sleet and freezing rain

We are going to get it pretty heavily here shortly. Welcome back to Iowa Trevor!? It's weird I have a sunburn, but it's like 4 degrees outside. :lol:

 
It just started snowing here a couple hours ago so it is probably heading your guys' way. We have about an in on the ground in the last 2 hours. That to go with the 8 inches we got this weekend.

 
this crap sux. My wife and I have been without power since 5 o'clock Sunday evening. Thankfully we have a generator so we can at least run a portable heater and keep the fridge going. Not too mention the coffee pots in the morning which is nice when it's freakin cold in the rest of the house. We're not expecting the power to return until this weekend at the earliest (sitting here at work right now). We wound up with anywhere from 1/2" to 3/4" of ice on everything. Even the blades of grass have ice covering them. Neighbors house looks like someone took a chain saw and cut everything down. We have a few tree limbs down in our yard but not as many as my neighbor.
