I've heard of the burning bush before, but this?

I walked by it yesterday on the way to North Stadium. There was a cop and a couple of marginally interested bystanders, but nobody seemed overly concerned about it. It actually was a little surreal to see people kind of standing around looking helplessly at this smoking tree--I wondered why someone didn't just dump a cooler of melted ice water on the thing and have done with it. But I'm sure they were doing more to put it out than I was able to tell in my 2 minutes on the scene.

My 1995 season tickets in student section were behind someone who smoked a tree in the stadium. So, yeah, I can vouch for that. lol
