So does Wats get any love today?

I don't think those that bash Watson (I'm among them) are all that reactionary.

I give Watson credit for continuing to go to the PA corner route. I don't think OSU covered it all day.

 
The play calling was better today. We actually might have seen a little more of this last week had we not been behind immediately and dropping every pass Martinez threw. Not the biggest of Watson fans but the offense looked good today and he deserves some credit for it! :bigredn:

 
In another thread, I voted Watson for the game ball.

He finally figured out you need to pass on first down against a stacked 8 man front.

Wats' best-called games are when our defense falls apart and we're forced to open everything up.

 
I really haven't bashed watson- save one thing. I still do not understand why Tmart is pulled last week? He was doing fine with his arm. Did watty think the receivers would catch the ball for Lee? Spilled milk I guess

He also wasn't running the zone read very well, and our offense was overall doing nothing. Bringing Lee in obviously did something as he had more success off the bat

The offense just needed some kind of spark

 
The only difference were the WR's caught the ball and OSU's defense isnt as good as Texas'
