I caught a f*cking hot dog from the Wiener Slinger!

Well, I didn't really "catch" it. I had Terrence Nunn hands. But the weiner slinger shot 3 of them at a time and I looked up and one was coming down right at me. I stuck my hands out and I dropped the catch and it landed between both of my feet. I could not believe it. I did eat it.....and it wasn't the best hot dog that i ever had, but it was probably the most special hot dog that I have ate. Could they wrap that thing any tighter??? It took me like 10 minutes just to get the plastic off.

But going solo was a great experience. The lady next to me was really nice. Quentin Castille was an animal. Our O-line looked like a wall.

glad you had a great time.

and a hotdog, free or not, is still made with "Lips and a$$hole$"

AR-what is the reference there

I moved a long way away from Neb years ago. :( But on game day, this year for the first time, I drove clear to Portland (about 95 miles) and watched the game with a group of crazy assed husker fans (Origonians for Nebraska) 280 of them. WOW It was the best time I have had in 10 Years! I had such a good time, I joined the nationally affiliated association and am now concidering taking care of a few needs they have on a vol bassis. LOVED IT

I've never been to an ACTUAL Husker home game. Of course, you know why I said "actual." :)

However, I've been to several bowl games, a Kickoff classic, and games at Happy Valley, Pittsburgh, Lubbock (yes, THAT one), and for both Iowa schools. Excluding the two Pennsylvania schools, I went alone as I couldn't convince any friends to fly to a game for a school they don't care about. I didn't regret it one bit.

I've been to a lot of away sporting events for hockey. Hockey fans are fantastic! Nothing tops Husker fans, though ... and even most opposing fans. Despite going alone to a lot of games, I've always been well-received and, most importantly, well-fed. In fact, I can't tell you the number of times I've been invited over to a tailgate because of the color of shirt I was wearing. And I was always invited to the local spot after the game.

If you are a Husker and look like a pleasant person, there isn't a single fan that will let you go through the experience by yourself.

On that note, so will other fans. Everyone but Penn State; they tested my New York temper.

Weiner slinger is awesome. I always laughed when the dog goes over and out of the stadium.

I've never caught a dog, but I did catch a shirt at a Lancers game. They had a similar gun. It was sweet.
