i hope if anything the life of LP could be a cautionary tale for high school athletes who think they're all that and don't have to work to develop their talent, character or maturity.

lawrence phillips could have had it all if he hadn't... well... acted like lawrence phillips. he was granted more chances than heinz gots pickles and he managed to blow it each and every time.

i hope he remembers that while he's spending five-to-fifteen in "slam-you-up-the-pooper" state pen. but he probably won't.

A couple of years ago a bunch of us would get together to play football every weekend. Being cops we got pretty damn cocky and well to make a long story short we were told that we could no longer play football because to many people were getting hurt. We weren't playing flag though it was full contact. We had a couple guys with separated shoulders, twisted knees, sprained ankles. So we decided to play basketball every weekend instead...............first weekend one of the guys broke his arm!!!! Needless to say we don't do anything now...... :lol:

except eat donuts and drink coffee

Nope we drink cappucino and eat bagels..........we are sophisticated now!!!! :clap

Yea they got sophisticated right after they learned how to spell COP.

was that before or after they learned how to spell G.E.D.

Actually...he was really short and stawky...pretty slow....

From the looks of it...think he was about 19 or so.....He was only an Airman Basic so he's probly fresh out of HS

It must be the cold miserable times between the bowl games and spring ball, we will get a reprive very soon with signing day but then it is back to the inhumane wait. We should have a law against such a long off season for football.

I agree..............I have a hard time watching any other sports although I do pay attention to baseball a little, but basketball (besides the Huskers) doesn't get any attention from me. I've tried watching hockey a few times, but I just don't understand it???
