So, Mizzou football done goofed now.

I can't wait for Pat Forde to rip Missouri a new one in his Forde Yard Dash column.

Oh, wait - I forgot. Pat's a Mizzou alum. I doubt he'll be writing much about this.

The University of Missouri did not investigate or tell law enforcement officials about an alleged rape, possibly by one or more members of its football team, despite administrators finding out about the alleged 2010 incident more than a year ago, an "Outside the Lines" investigation has found. The alleged victim, a member of the swim team, committed suicide in 2011.

Lake of fire for them.

Actually, this is ok. Florida State setup the template for them to follow. No worries.

CNN did an in depth piece on it last night with Don Lemon; even had a correspondent on campus. At this point, something has to happen. The university can no longer sweep it under the rug. I wouldn't be surprised if someone ends up being arrested for rape.

Dear NCAA,

If these allegations of a cover up are true at the University of Missouri, I would like to remind you of the sanctions imposed on Penn State University for their cover up. You know, for continuity sake:

$60 million fine. Equivalent to the football yearly revenue. Paid to an endowment to an organization to assist victims of sexual abuse. Funds not to be used to establish university programs of this nature.

Forfeiture of Bowl game revenue to be used to be allocated towards established organizations in the conference's footprint to help assist victims of sexual abuse.

4 year post season conference championship and bowl game ban

vacation of wins dated to the time of the infraction

reduction of 10 initial and 20 total scholarships each year for 4 years.

5 years probation to run parallel to the post season ban

Allow players to leave the football program without losing a year of eligibility

In your 'new' conference, UM ignored a rape allegation until the player's football days were over.
Your school isn't so clean itself, quite similar allegations to Mizzou.
The victim's profile is similar, assuming you are referring to our most recent non-scandal. But the University reaction appears to be totally different, since ND contacted the County sheriff's office who investigated and exonnerated the player.

I can't say I've ever heard one get expelled a week before retirement under the guise of "We changed the rules sexual assault, and then they then retroactively covered that assault of yours."
