No going back, it has to been Green. Unless he blows it big time I think the starting job is his. He is our future.

Doesn't matter. Neither one will be able to do anything against that OU defense with the crap O-line we put in front of them.

They made the change and they need to stick with it. It's not good to switch quarterbacks every game. Kinda sends the wrong message to Cody if we bench him now in my opinion. That can't do anything but hurt his confidence. I mean he didn't do anything amazing, but he didn't do anything to deserve to be benched either. One pick 6 is understandable for a true freshman making his first D-1 start. We need to stay consistent. Had they started Lee against Baylor, I'd say stick with Lee. You wouldn't want to give a true freshman his first start against a D like Oklahoma.

I agree there is no going back now. Green didn't have the best first game, but he is way more athletic in the run and more poised in the pocket.

+ Green is more poised in the pocket

+ Green is also a running threat

+ Green is a natural leader

+ Green can go through receiver progressions

= Both make silly mistakes

= Both mis-throw receivers

- Lee has more experience

I would go with Green so far...

wouldn't suprise me to see Lee start or go in early. he has more experience vs real competition.

I don't think it matters who starts.

neither are impressive right now.

I voted Green because if we want to beat OU we will need speed. Can't afford to get sacked a whole lot and we need a quarterback who can run away and escape from the pressure.

I think it's time for Lee to transfer. Even though Green did not play at alll well yesterday, Lee's days at starter are gone unless Green goes down with the an injury.

Lee needs to stick around, he's the only experienced backup we have. Little Gabbert has to be excited about coming here next year, he may end up #2 on the depth chart by default.
