if it were me, id fit the actual move to an undisclosed, unidentified timeframe .....don't go fire him just to fire him and force yourself into a decisions...be patient, weigh your options, have the money lined up and when the right oppty appears, take it. might take a while...but the next hire could be the end if things go wrong again...

I honestly don't think many of the realistic choices are better then Bo. Yes, there are problems, but he runs a good program (education, community help, ect), and he has a history here and understands Nebraska. I guess what I'm saying is if we can't get a great replacement (and I'm not suggesting, at this time, Bo should be let go), don't do anything. Make sure you have a quality replacement before anything is done publicly.

The best option is pay saban $20 million a year.. The best realistic choice, in mho, is Briles.

Scott Frost could be interesting. Oregon is tearing it up against Tennessee and he's a hometown kid, etc.

The telecast showed Frost in the boot several time. There was a love fest praising Frost for efficiency and discipline.

Just off the top of my head - Charlie Strong, Kirby Smart, Gary Patterson, Chris Peterson, Art Briles, Pat Fitz, Mark Richt, James Franklin, Steve Sarkisian, Dabo Swinney, Paul Rhodes, Paul Johnson, Chad Morris, Scott Frost, Al Golden.

Most of those coaches make less than Bo. With some young talent, top 5 facilities, great fans, easy B1G West division coming up - our only real downside is recruiting location. While I think most of those coaches would be a dream, its not like I am listing people like Meyer, Saban, Chip Kelly, Stoops, Les Miles, O'Brien, Jimbo Fisher, Sumlin, etc.

some are legit choices. but be realistic. i crossed off the unrealistic ones.

I laughed too. Another unproven head coach. I dont know what the answer is. Kirby Smart is unproven but a Saban disciple. Who knows? I know the Muschamp thing isnt working out at MSState.

James Franklin would be interesting but other than one good year at Vandy does not a good coach make.
