Sony Online Entertainment has confirmed that it is closing three offices, laying off 205 employees and cancelling production of its spy-based MMO The Agency. The studio intends to focus on developing MMOs based on its EverQuest and PlanetSide brands.

Kind of shocking news. I am looking forward to Planetside:Next and am glad that MMO is still in the works.

Not that shocking really, that kinda thing happens all the time. I am a bit disappointed that The Agency is dead, but I cant even remember seeing any info on it in about two years, there must have been serious issues.
