Sounds like Frank got drugged by the bartender and not dui and that is how that whole incident happened. Don't know if this is going to go public or not.

If Frank was drugged, then why did he plead no contest to DUI? Doesn't make much sense.

Did a google search on it.

I find it hard to believe that every other person they interviewed in the bar and the cab company has gotten together to corroborate a story to take GOT FRANK down. First, it was Pederson, now a hippy bartender. What's next? Colonel Mustard? Dinosaurs? Global Warming?

:horns2 ...Thanks Beeeenard, i needed a good laugh tonight here at work, was going too slow....Thought most conspiracy theorist focused on the New World Order and George Bush????

where do you get your info from????

do you stick your hand up your butt and grab on to something and pull it out and then say to yourself "This is good, I ought to post it on Huskerboard"?

come on man, GET A LIFE

Man, I busted a gut reading this thread! Benard, if it means anything to you, your posts do produce some nice retorts!

By the way, where did this come from? :moreinteresting

That's frick'in hilarious! :woo

The person that drugged him was on the grassy knoll. And that person knows where Jimmy Hoffa is.

This is pretty lame. Just move on Frankie it is time. So you passed out at the wheel after bumping into a couple of cars. This thing happens to a lot of D-1 coaches. Wait just Bob Huggins(I can't believe we let him get away. :bang ) and the Natural Ice coach that used to be in Ames(I know who he is I just don't want to spell his name). Nevermind. He had to be drugged.

i pass out drunk all the time...does that mean my wife or my friends drug me?.. damn those people, i knew the alcohol didn't make the room spin!! :rollin :rollin :rollin

hypothetically speaking, why would a bartender drug frank solich? to say he drugged frank solich? not something you want to brag about. they usually put people in jail for that sort of thing.

another hypothetical, why am i posting on this thread? i guess i just want to get in on the action. i am also curious with benard's incessant frank talk. why continue? to get "retorts?" do you take joy in all the disruption you cause? do you have a hard time letting things go and moving on? do you have a hard time realizing frank buried this program? good thing callahan found frank's shovel and is digging real hard to bring NEBRASKA into the light again.

Not playing devil's advocate here, but I could find it somewhat believable that something like this could happen. About two months ago, I went out with my wife for her friend's birthday. We went to a local watering-hole, and many in the bar know that I am a cop (should have known better). Well over a four hour period, I consumed only eight beers. For you mathematically challenged that is two beers an hour. Now I am not going to "brag" about how much beer it takes to get me beyond drunk, but it is way more than two beers an hour. My wife drove home even though I had no ill feelings from the beer. I woke up later that night at around four in the morning. My tongue was swollen, I felt horribly sick to my stomach, and could not walk straight. After visiting the toilet for a good one, I went back to bed with the room spinning. I woke up again at around nine in the morning. I still felt like I was badly sick, I could hardly walk, couldn't speak, and had discovered that I had damn near bitten off half of my tongue (why it was swollen). I was so bad in the morning, that my wife thought about taking me to the E.R. I have never felt that bad after a night of small drinking. It is of my opinion that I had something slipped into one of my drinks. Don't know what it was, but I truly believe this. We saw what happened at an Applebee's in Omaha with the Deputies. Was Solich just stonecold drunk. Probably, but I wouldn't say for 100% certainty that he was. Anyone else ever had this happen to them?

not to me personally but a friend of mine claims to have been drugged at a bar. after 4 beers she blacked out. woke up the next morning and did not remember a thing. i know she can drink way more than 4 beers. i agree that it totally isnt out of the question..

That made my day :rollin Maybe he was ruffied before every game his last couple of years because he sure wasn't coaching worth a f#*k. :rollin

OK, I'll bite.

Hair analysis. You can use analysis of hair to determine drug use. However, from what I read this has to happen within a time frame, for obvious reasons. When were the tests taken after the incident? Documentation?

If Got Frank was drugged with GHB AND had been drinking heavily as many people at the bar have said, there is a very real posibility that he could have died.

From what I have just read (just go google "GHB alcohol" and read yourself), people who use alcohol and GHB will become very very sleepy, disoriented, silly, etc, etc. Often retiring to a very very deep sleep with dangerously shallow breaths.

Now, the officer found him passed out at the wheel but was able to wake him up. I would think it would be painfully obvious that he was on something other than just booze.

edit: I mean c'mon. GHB is date rape drug. The fact that the officer was able to wake him up is suprising. Again, if he was drugged

Got Frank refused any breathalyzer or blood alcohol tests and pleaded no contest AFAIK. If he was framed, the framed the right guy in as much as he went down like a sack of potatoes.

If he was really drugged and has hard evidence, he should use it. The site DJR posted says that the writer doubts it will be investigated further. That falls a bit to hard on the convenient side

I think Got Frank was indeed drunk and deserved the DUI. As far as drugging, well, there need to be way more answers before it can become anything but a conspiracy theory.
