Someone gave the team a pep talk

dont want to be accused of cutting and pasting from a paid board, so i will not use any names but i think that you should be able to figure it out afterwards who i am talking about.

a former football coach at NU gave the team a pep talk today. he graduated from Hastings High School, Hastings College, and later in life coached a NCAA Div 1 football team to 3 NC in 4 years.

any guesses who it was?????????????

FWIW, I've read about it from a couple of 'free' sources..... and, from what I've read so far, it's apparent that some of the players were just in 'awe' of T.O.

Given the current state of the program, what a positive sign to have Dr. Tom Osborne address the current team!!!

:clap

I have all the respect for

Tom Osbourne....

but if larry the cable guy :sarcasm and the 1997 national champions can't pump them up....no one will

Hope it helped Tom

Glad to see he came into give them a pep talk.

I know it may be uneazy for some there, but I think he obviously has a lot to offer.

I have heard that he could give one hell of a half time speech, without all the cussing that some coaches seem to think they have to use.

Thanks T.O.

Awesome!!!! :bonez :bonez

I read on another board the message was to put the individual behind and become a team. Guess the players were in awe of Dr. Tom!

Wow, BC must be more desperate than I thought letting TO come in and give a talk. I bet that was an icecold welcome BC gave TO. BC must be grasping his last straw!

Hell, No matter what has caused BC to allow this it is a good thing. Now the players need to respond to greatness and BC needs to keep that door open.

GBR

The door has always been open. Glad Tom made the effort though. We need the old to help the new.

We all need to come together, the 97 team is going to be honored, it is Homecoming...timing couldn't be better.

Go Big Red!!!! PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE!!!
