Too bad, since these might have improved your mood and informed your diatribe.
What does Nebraska make a new coach guarantee before we let him step foot on campus? What's your minimum? Big 10 championship every other year? Playoffs every other year? Top 10 finish every year?So long as you understand it doesn't give us 04-07 either.
The small stuff? No.If the Huskers dominate the next 2 games, are we still talking about McNeese St and the issues NUpolo8 listed at the beginning of this thread? Serious question.
I'm not sure some posters will stop talking about it until Bo gets fired or wins the conference. No matter how good NU plays, the poor performance against a 1AA will be a reason why we'll struggle and/or lose the next game. They were addressed Sunday. But the bigger issue, like an FCS team being able to key on our Heisman RB and be successful in doing so might want to be addressed before the team travels to East Lansing.

I don't think we'll learn much playing a team that lost by 39 (not a blowout by some standards but pretty close), and 32. Fresno looks to be on their way to a very rough year. Miami isn't much farther along, staring down another mediocre season. Me personally - I'll brush off McNeese after we take MSU to the wire in a hard fought game (don't have to be a win just good football) - then dominate Northwestern. I want to see us perform consistently against at least some sort of competition at least a couple weeks in a row. We won't get that for a while. If the Huskers dominate the next 2 games, are we still talking about McNeese St and the issues NUpolo8 listed at the beginning of this thread? Serious question.
Western Illinois held Melvin Gordon to 38 yards on 17 carries, so not sure if it's uncommon for an overmatched team to base their whole game plan on stopping the best player. The small stuff?
