And wish were never recorded...

Boss insists on listening to wuss radio.. and threatens to fire anyone who changes the station.

Two stations...One claims to never repeat a song in a day (but plays the same ~20-30 songs every day for the last several months and the other one that plays these songs every 2-3 hours.

So far..they're not growing on me.


 
Oh no! I'm not a big fan of Moves Like Jagger, but it might be difficult for us to be friends if you absolutely hate Fun. Although I do think "their other song" [Some Nights] is much better.

There's a lot of poppy stuff that is way too ordinary and run of the mill for me. Although I can't think of any right now I'd bestow as much respect/attention on as I would by calling it a song I absolutely hate. I purchased Bruno Mars' doo-wops album a while back when it was on a steep discount on Amazon, and man, that thing was filled with some pretty bad/lame crap, apart from 'Just the Way You Are.' I also got a John Mayer album (Battle Studies) that has been really, really disappointing. It was my first real introduction to Mayer, and I don't know, after everything I heard, I thought he'd be cool or something. Not sappy as hell.

I maybe should've seen that one coming, it seemed to be mostly girls who really liked him.

Sappy never used to bother me..as long as my friends didn't see me...

Sorta like riding a moped or a fat girl...All kinds of fun until your friends saw you. :ahhhhhhhh

Must remember to pull out my old vinyl (LPs) to torture my son someday..Leo Sayer..Billy Joel... Lionel Ritchie..Pablo Cruise...Michael Johnson..Player.

There's even songs by bands I usually like that I wish never got airtime..

Like Van Halen's "Dance the Night Away" or ZZ Top's "(She's Got) Legs" and maybe even "Sharp Dressed Man"..They get WAY overplayed on the radio, when each band has literally hundreds of songs that are much better.
