I don't like that whole tommy scrambles everyone is looking in the backfield to get a cheap block behind the play. If working up field, tommy gains 10+

Newby does not look explosive at all

He specializes in picking up wide-open yards with clean blocking. I would love to see his YAC (Yards After Contact) numbers. He might have 300 yards on the season, but I'd be shocked if he has more than 5 total YAC.

I have to eat crow and say Tommy has been plays much, much better this season than he did last year. Much smarter in his decision making.
