As I watch the Huskers game again. I noticed the D-Line does not have any fundamental rush moves "at all". Just pushing and hand fighting.

It's pretty embarassing it has gotten to the point that ex-Huskers are officially asking the team to step it up over social media. I think it's a good thing, just bothered that it's actually gotten THIS bad.

Let's hope they respond.

Yep. being called out by guys who excelled at both levels is pretty sad. Glad to know that a lot of folks on the board observed the same things and are calling for a simplified D that allows athleticism to reign. Now if Bo would just listen that his scheme sux and as Knapp has posted numerous times quit playing "patty cake" on the D line.

I guess the question now is if Bo actually takes notice and adjusts some things. Probably won't know much this weekend but it should be fairly obvious during the year if things have changed or not.

 
Never in the history of the program has anyone tweeted and called us out!!! Wait, did they have twitter during Cally's time?

 
Sadly, I don't know that Bo will adjust. I could see him seeing it simply as outside noise the team needs to ignore and playing up the "us against the world" mentality again.

We shall see. I still have much hope for this defense, regardless.
