DAMMIT IT WENT TO SPACE!! IT HAS MARTIAN POWERS NOW!!Ugh, it could be anything, including nothing to do with zero gravity, cosmic rays, or anything remotely related to space flight. No control group, among other things, means essentially, "Anything we discover has no way of ever being accepted by the scientific community, so we're just wasting everyone's time with a curiosity that means nothing."
Man this is weird.'Cherry tree from space' mystery baffles Japan
This tree was grown from a cherry stone that spent time on the ISS. It bloomed far earlier than a normal cherry tree.
It doesn't seem like they expected it to do some weird sh#t, hence the lack of valid experimentation. Now there's something to shoot for, at least if anyone cares to test it.lol, well it's cool, I just wish it was done as a scientifically valid experiement rather than...whatever it was. Microgravity definitely does some weird sh#t, I wouldn't put it past it.
