Was doing some online window shopping for Husker gear and came across this. Has anyone heard of anything special planned for breast cancer awareness?

Hmmm.... I know I contacted TO's office last year about a Pink Out for Breast Cancer, but they declined due to poor participation in the past. Maybe this is their compromise. Bottom line is, this staff cares about fighting breast cancer. I can't praise them enough for that. Same goes for Bill Callahan, who either started or perpetuated the tradition of Football 101 being a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research. I know Bo does the same thing with 101 these days.

I think Football 101 was the best thing Callahan did while at NU and I'm glad Bo has continued the tradition.

I do wish a "pink out" was planned for a home game. I think if it was well publicized the fans would support it. Last year I went to a Husker women's basketball game and a pink out was planned, but it was not well publicized and not many in the stands wore pink.
