I got a backwards Cerni punt recovered in the end zone.

On the cusp of a thrilling 4th quarter comeback, an attempted onside kick is returned for a touchdown. Both Toure and Manning (on the field as part of “the hands team”) are injured while attempting to recover the ball.

 TO actually ran this several times- but that was before this comedy of errors Special Teams disease struck.

Blocked field goal returned for a touchdown, short field goal returned for a touchdown, punt kicked backwards-everyone confused- opposing team picks it up after all the huskers stand and stare at it not knowing what to do and they take it in for a td.

Inspired by the play that lost the game at Mich. St., Nebraska tries the 2 returner thing... opposing team kicks the ball right between thr two returners, neither calls for the ball and they run into and injure each other as the punt comes down squarely on one returners nuts and rolls into the open field. Muffed punt then taken in for a td by opposing team.

We just forget to send a punter out and nobody notices. They hike the ball to no one, defense picks the ball up and walks in for a TD.

We attempt a fake field goal. Instead of winding up for the kick, Culp makes a dash for the outside edge while the holder flips the ball behind his head to him. But guess what?!? Piper gets bulldozed and a defender shoots up the middle, snags the ball out of the air, and takes it to the house. Coach Dawson does not realize the wrong team scored until the conclusion of their fight song.
