Thus far, very disappointing. Bummer. Offense obviously not close to running plays smoothly. No timing, drops, missed throws, 2 yard runs, etc. Defense winning but not sure one wants to credit the 'tough' defense as much as mediocre offense. Hope it gets better.

Is this Armstrong we're talking about?

All of the offense basically. Just not well prepared. They have been practicing something for a month and many are returning in this system. You'd like to think they could execute some basic plays well. Couple first downs or so in an entire quarter of snaps.

I figure if TA can get us thru this season with, say, 9 wins and less than 10 INTs, emphasize read option for him and we can call it a success and move on to the next phase of pro style QB stardom...

That being said, does TA show any signs of passing improvement or same ol same ol?

The d-line is pretty raw right now, very little experience, so the running numbers will look good
