Spring Game Itinerary

Interested in what others are planning on for the spring game if you are heading to Lincoln?

I am thinking this

Leave Omaha at 9am: Hopefully get parked by 10am

Hit O Street bars that are open: Sandy's, Brothers, Cliffs and Barry's

Head over to the Rail yard for 1 or 2

Off to the stadium...this is where it can get rough...when to leave the spring game. I usually like heading back out before the start of the 4th.

Get back and probably hit Barry's again because I imagine the rooftop will be in full force.

The second difficult part. When to head back to Omaha...

What about you guys?

 
My other question...jeans or shorts (not jean shorts) that day? Could be a tough call!

Also, is it okay to wear just a plain red T-shirt? Or does it have to be a Husker T?

 
Leave at 7ish. Pickup the cookies. Be at LJS bout 9. crack a beer. open my chairs. sneak a cookie or 3 while waiting for folks to show up. help grill on grill set up. maybe play a catch with my son. Sneak a few more cookies. Argue with my brother. Change a diaper, etc.

That is great. Whenever I head down to Lincoln with my brother, there is a good few minutes where we are just yelling and screaming at each other.

Following spring game is husker baseball @6pm. I'd expect some spill over from football to pack the baseball game. gonna be a good long day.
