spring game visitors

Four-Star Recruit
probably to early to have much reliable information on this, but can we start compiling a list of recruits who will be attending the spring game?

I have heard:

Blake Bell - QB (#1 ranked QB according to rivals)

Jatashaun Beachum - DT/ATH

Chance Carter - 6'4 245 DE from Illinois with Offers from ND, Wisconson, Stanford, and Indiana. He has already attended junior days at ND, Wisconson and Stanford. we are in his top 4 (Indiana is not)

The spring game is less than a month away and we only know of 6 visitors? I'm sure there are more but doesn't anyone have a rivals account? I am really hoping for 10-15 this year. I'm not counting Marve.

It would be nice to get a commitment from terry or lucas before they leave but i'm not holding my breath. Those two should be a big priority.

I think Chance Carter wants to make his decision relatively soon. If he's coming down for the spring game we might have a pretty good chance of landing him. Here's to hoping.

From LJS

Spring game draws a crowd (of recruits)

If you're going to put 80,000 people in the stands to watch a practice, you might as well gather some recruits to come be part of the carnival.

The list of prospects wanting to come to Lincoln on April 18 is starting to form.

As of now, here are the ones planning on attending the Husker spring game (credit goes to John Talman of Rivals.com on this list):

Chris Barnett, TE, Dallas (2011 recruiting class)

Jared Barnett, QB, Garland, Texas

Jatashun Beachum, ATH/DT, Dallas

Blake Bell, QB, Wichita, Kan.

Chance Carter, DE, Evanston, Ill.

Andre Dawson, RB, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Randy Knust, WR, The Woodlands, Texas

Marcus Lucas, WR, Liberty, Mo.

Tobi Okuyemi, DE, Plymouth, Minn.

Keeston Terry, WR, Blue Springs, Mo.

Expect some more names to be added to that list. And for those curious about stars, Bell, Dawson, Lucas and Terry are rated as four-star players by Rivals.

Andrew Rodriguez, the offensive lineman from Aurora who is Nebraska's lone commitment at this time, is listed as the No. 2 offensive guard prospect in the country according to Scout.com.

Scout has Christian Lombard, a Notre Dame commit, rated No. 1. But the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Rodriguez is just one of five guards given four stars by Scout. Rivals also gives Rodriguez four stars, though he does not have a position rating from them yet.

There are still about 10,000 tickets left for the spring game. Interested fans are encouraged to buy tickets by at least early next week. After that point, it will be too late to have them mailed to you.

Any changes to this list?

I know the new DB is supposed to be coming and I assume Bell is no longer going to be in attendance?

Sorry to keep asking but it seems a few other prospects are now coming for the spring game. Does anyone have an updated list?
