Spring Game?

Greased

Walk-on
So, from what I've heard the whole Northside of the Stadium will be closed.

Since the strong ticket sales from last migth cause this thing to sell out, would they show this thing on TV?

Is there a chance they would, or is this just a big no-no?

i doubt that it will be televised because it would cost to much money for the airtime and who would pay for it? you know that the university wouldnt because it would take away from any profits that they make from the game.

A couple of years ago it was on the internet. Who knows maybe that will happen, but I doubt it would be on TV or pay per view as they would still lose their butt.

I have emailed Pederson's office asking if the game will be live on Husker.com. I mentioned that this subject has come up because of the lack of seating possible due to the construction.

I'll pass on to you gals & guys, their response.

I am not familiar to the whole spring game thing in Lincoln. Does it cost to get in the game? Is it a whole day thing, or do fans just show up for the game, then call it a day? Just curious to know.

It costs about 5 bucks to get it and you can get tickets now at Huskers.com. Most people treat it like a regular home game (i.e. parties, tailgating ect.) Come early and join the fun.

Thanks for the info,, I appreciate it. I'm not a Husker Fan really, but I respect the history and place they have in College Football. Alot of my close friends are NU alums, so I am around the Husker atmosphere quite a bit.

This will be my first time at the spring game and well at Memorial for that matter. Does anyone have any advice for getting their early? We will be staying at one of the hotels near by so we won't have to park anywhere.

Also, have any of you been on the tour of the stadium, Devaney Center, etc....???? Is it worth the time?
