I noticed Diaco spent a lot of time working with/instructing/praising/calling out redshirt freshman Quayshon Alexander. That usually means a coach sees a good amount of potential in someone.

Outside linebacker Alex Davis. It will take some time for Davis to fully acclimate to the shortside outside linebacker spot, but it’s his to lose. Davis has the frame — 6-5, 255 pounds — to be the right guy for that role.
