Not even close. Farley was so explosive you didn’t even call a play, he just ran to the spot and if a QB was standing there he clobbered them and if a punter was there he clobbered them, too. There were no fumbles when he played because by the time you noticed the ball was missing he’d already scored.

It’s not diminishing of current Huskers to say these things because it’s just no comparison. Insane explosiveness and an absolute nose for the ball. He didn’t make tackles, he made plays.
