Spring Practice - Wide Receivers

I know KJJ's out until hopefully after spring break.

Do we know if McQuitty was a full go after his shoulder surgery in Dec? It think I saw some pics of him catching balls.

 
Actually, now I see a report that McQuitty was being held out. So he must have done a little bit of work but not much.

 
Sounds like besides DPE and Morgan there's a pretty big drop off. Wouldn't be a bad idea to pursue a transfer after the spring. Hopeful Lindsey, and a healthy duo of Keyshawn & McQuitty can help bolster that unit.

Don't think KJJ will help this year. Jaevon and Lindsay will probably be able to help with some packages. I think Riley's comment was more about the other guys proving themselves on a consistent basis. I think spielman, rahn, and reimers will be in the regular rotation but this is their first time with the top unit and mistakes are probably being made. Come season time our wr corps will be the best in the west by a solid margin. Better qb play could also make this group better than last years

I agree with Lindsay from a talent standpoint but learning the entire offense and all the fine points of playing wr will determine if he is an every down guy. I think he will be like Stanley his first year. Growing in his role as the year goes. Hopefully with his talent we find ways to get him on the field.

 
I'ld assume most of the rec are still adjusting to the new QBs. When you get used to running routes and having to wait on balls or always jump for balls it can be an adjustment when now you are running routes and the ball is on you right away and where it is supposed to be
