I think most of the pundits thought that Florida would open a can of whup a$$ on us on natural turf at the Fiesta Bowl. oops A few said they were simply amazed. I think it was Bob the greaseman Griese that made fun of the players on the NU side joking around during the game and making fun of the UF choo choo train noise. Seemed ok when other teams did it though. I'm too sensitive and biased I guess.

some people don't like to face the fact that a team from nebraska can be that good..thats what makes us husker fans the best in the nation..we can recognize

I would love to listen into conversations at other schools and what their D and O coordinators are saying. Geez, they can run, pass and play shut down D. I think they're back DAMN.

Pain train and the flash should pose some real problems for opposing D's and ain't nuthin wrong with that. :horns2

It should be widely accepted by NU fans that the Huskers will never be favored or accepted by the media. Nebraska is tolerated at best, but we are disregarded as soon as possible when the opportunity merits. Watching Bowden and Saunders during the NU/OSU game in 2003 was evidence of that. :rolleyes:

The only thing Nebraska can do is to put themselves in a position where the media can't ignore them. And that means win, be competitive, and beat teams that the media deems important.
