Due to the otherworldly kicking abilities of Adi Kunalic and Alex Henery, the students feel their feet should be bare when they are on the field.

It started Adi's freshman year. We hadn't had a kicker that could get it to the endzone in a couple seasons, so when he started booming touchbacks people took off their shoes to support him.

It actually started in about the 2004 season when a kicker from the other school kicked bare foot. Sorry to dissapoint but i was in the section doing it before Adi got here.
