We went 8 4 with a team that had no confidence! Turning them around by leaps and bounds, with new fresh talent! We can win no North and we will compete with Oklahoma next year. I'm tired of all the 5 star hoopla, we will redshirt and develope players. I will be in Clemson and the start of seeing some consistency in our program

I will also say this, I live in Louisiana with LS WHO tigers! When Bo left, not only did it take away the defense, but it looks like it took away their identity! I think that it makes for a better situation we could of hoped for. Lsu plays effortless and cheap, GBR and with TO in the background anything is possible

Well, we have a boat load of stars piling up in the '09 class.....maybe just 1 5 star guy(Cody Green, as per Scout.com). There are just few true freshman, no matter how many stars, who are ready to seriously contribute on a D-I level. To me, all this redshirting just shows that BO has high standards and is wise with his resources. It also shows that the cupboard wasn't bare when he got here and that he can COACH!

I wouldn't consider OU rebuilding next year...OU doesn't "rebuild" they reload

OU will consider it rebuilding though if Bradford leaves because Texas with McCoy will have a field day with them.

The point is OU will still be good. Just how good is up for debate, hence the reload vs. rebuild argument, but the fact is they will be a ranked team next year. They will be a very tough team to beat still, they have tons of depth. If NU beats OU next, I don't care if it is in Lincoln or not, it will be a big win. Beating ranked teams is sign that NU is getting back over the hump to national power again.

I think that's great news for the future as these kids are only going to be better in the long run. :thumbs
Pinkel redshirted his entire first class at Missouri. This year only about 60-65% of the class redshirted. I think it's a good strategy for a new coach. Expectations on Bo will never be lower than they were this year. Gives him a leg up down the road.
