I'm going to have to break this down into a few posts because I have a lot to post. I took pics of the expansion last weekend but this is the first chance I've had to post them.

First pic is actually from today. I went through the stadium and got a chance to take a panorama of the whole thing. It's a HUGE pic, so be warned...

Now, from last weekend:

I was able to get inside the construction fence for a few of these, thanks to a very kind gentleman working on the weekend. Walked in, snapped a couple of shots, and left post haste.

Next up, the Arena and environs.

That panorama is the greatest picture in the history of pictures.

I would kill to see one of those shots done once the stadium is finished.

Excellent photos knapplc, thanks for taking the time to keep us out of towners up to date (especially since the athletic department is covering the project so well). The stadium looks kind of weird right now with the perspective of the iron work and how they are enclosing it at the moment. Can't wait to see it once the iron work is done.

Are they replacing the bleachers in east stadium? Looks like something is going on but I can't quite tell what.

Yes, they are. They already replaced the bleachers in the west stadium last spring. I don't know if they're doing the south stadium, but the north bleachers should be new enough that they don't need replacing.
