Stanford vs. ucla

Stanford is your winner....... barely.

I feel for Mora Jr. boys, no body gave them any chance at the start of the season and they damn near won the conference.

 
Does it seem like at least 2/3 of CFB teams have untested freshman place kickers? The first thought I have after watching a soul crushing loss due to a missed FG is how incredibly lucky we have been to have quality kickers and punters over the years.

 
Both these teams looked like they would give us a hell of a game and we'd be underdogs in the Rose Bowl (if UCLA won they would have moved up in ranking, they beat us already this year, and the Rose Bowl is their home field...so I think we'd be underdog if they had made it and if we can make it).

I ended up sort of pulling for Stanford because if we win tomorrow I think I'd like to play someone new rather than playing UCLA 3 times in 2 seasons. I think UCLA would still give us fits with their motion and misdirection as we don't have players on defense to deal with that. Stanford scares me because they might just absolutely dominate both lines of scrimmage. If we could put together a defensive scheme to stop Stanford, I would be pretty impressed.

Let's get there first! :koolaid2:
