I think the reason for the high substitution rate is that these guys are often running dead sprints in pass routes the majority of the time they are in the game. Then when they do get a reception they are exerting more energy running the with ball and taking a hit.

I think it's common practice to rotate the top 4-6 receivers during the game, and then that could go deeper with injuries and other items.

He has found a spot returning kicks for sure. Stevenson sucked at that.

Should get more reps at wide out next 2 games. He has played really well when given a chance. We are pretty strong at wideout.

OC is probably trying to keep receivers fresh and are they bringing the plays in at times as well?? not sure about that.

I don't care if it was to appease him(which didn't work anyway) why the hell was Stevenson back there when Morgan is obviously so much better? Stevenson sucked on returns and it's obvious his attitude sucked too. Morgan is a beast, he'll be a good one in the years to come. He looks like a Nebraska wr out there blocking on the edge.

I do think we rotate a little too much on wr's. A guy like kamp should be out there most of the time. But ya at least we are keeping them fresh.

The thing that gets me with this staff and last years staff. We play no WR's almost every down. They are in and out. I for sure thought with Riley we would see our top 1 to 2 guys on the field every play possible. You look at most of the top 25 teams around and they have 1-2 wr's that never leave the field.

With Riley I can remember Cooks , The Rogers brothers never left the field. It was a every other play rotation.

Westy is the #1 WR option for a reason. Baring injury's West, Morgan and Riley should see the field on 95% of the snaps.

I've often wondered this myself. A receiver makes a great catch and he runs to the sideline to be replaced by someone else.

Noticed the same thing. They often make a sweet play, get up, look over at the sideline, then run out. I'm like "Why? Why is he leaving?" The personnel rotations will go down as one of the biggest mysteries of this coaching staff. OL, RB, WR, it's weird.

Injury aside, the only WRs that should see the field next year are Westerkamp, Morgan, DPE, Moore, and Reilly.

It's not that weird, it's In the way they package plays with their personell. Sometimes you are in, sometimes out. Its to keep the D guessing. Like another example is Newby and Jano didn't come in a lot together.

Stanley has been a bright spot on this dreary season. I think he'll have a great (and possibly record-breaking) career at Nebraska.
