Starting QB

I think there is no question who the lead guy our there is.............but in 2008 watch out there is going to be some major competition at QB. ;)
:yeah
:yeah :yeah

Right now it's Keller's spot to lose.......and its pretty much a sure thing that he wont (unless he gets injured or does something really stupid) I just hope the guys behind him push him hard enough to make him work harder, thus, making him even better than he was. I cant wait to see this guy on the field. :woo

I think you nailed it right on the head.

from a fan's point of view, this stuff is all great entertainment.

keller may be the frontrunner, but there are a couple of guys who will eat his lunch if they let him. just ask harrison beck.

as much as i loved taylor (in the manly, heterosexual sense), i'm looking forward to this spring and seeing who walks away with the big prize.

reguardless, nebraska football will be the winner.

While everyone who has a brain in the country realize that Keller is the frontrunner there should be competition. Zac Lee is still nursing a hurt knee and Patrick Witt is suppose to have all the tools that Dukes had when he left HS early with the exception of being able to actually play big time D1 football. The way I see it the only real competition he has is Witt at this point and from what I remember weren't the coaches praising him for how well he was running the scout team last year? Obviously there is something to that if Hildebrand didn't stick around to compete. I know the reports were the coaches told him to seek a spot elsewhere but still, to me that says something about the upcoming year. While its great Ganz has been here and done his time, didn't Mike Stuntz stick around and even switch positions to play? The spring game will really show what we have to look forward to. We dont know how Keller will do because we havent seen him live in our system, just like we have only seen Ganz in mop up duty. Personally I cant wait for the spring game.

This is how the QB situation will shake out:

1) Keller

2) Ganz

3) Lee (being out for spring really hurts him)

4) Davis

5) Witt (will redshirt)
