I'm sure it will be Abdullah. I also think that Cross show alot of strength and toughness, that he could be a surprise.

Abdullah. Changed into an every down back almost in an instant. Took on more contact than he ever did last year and looked ready to become a do-it-all back.

i heard ameer, heard, and cross are all going to wear burkhead's jersey so burkhead still gets the stats and will still be able to contend for the heisman.

I figure AA is a lock. Wonder how that will effect our KO and punt return plans. AA and Marlowe were the two listed, now Marlowe out and AA the featured back, I would hope the staff would lighten his ST duties. Perhaps JT on returns? Maybe even Carnes.

Adullah, Heard, Cross, and Marrow will all see the ball again. A bad Rice team put up some points on UCLA, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Abdullah go over 100, and the team just under 300 yards for the day....

Something I didn't realize was that Cross had 62 yards on Saturday. Pretty sweet for how little he played!

I was surprised that Abdullah only had 80 some yards. It seemed like he for sure had gotten 100.

Man that is not bad at all. It seemed like he only had a few touches. Good for him.

Abdullah ran like a beast on Saturday. I would think he'd be the starter. I think Cross gets saved for short yardage and late game situations. He killed Southern Miss late in the game when they were tired and I think he can do the same with UCLA.

Ameer Abdullah should be the guy who gets most of the carries. He's still a fairly small back so I don't know how much of a "do-it-all" he can really be. I expect their carries to be split similarly to how they were against USM.

I would like to see more of Imani Cross throughout the game. I know he had 11 carries for 62 yards, but 6 or 7 of those carries were on the last drive. I would like to see him work in the thick of the game, and end up with 15 or 18 carries in the game.
