Ameer played well, but I liked Heard the most on Saturday. He just seemed quicker getting into the hole. I thought Cross seemed hesistant, but as a freshman he will get better. All 3 deserve carries.

i miss green because i think him and ameer were such a dangerous and versatile combo in that diamond formation. just an incredible amount of athleticism.

I think Abdullah looked outstanding on Saturday! Cross will probably continue to be worked in as a specialty power back, and Heard...I am not sure we have seen the coaches demonstrate enough faith in him yet, but at least last year I felt he looked the best of the RBs not named Rex. Or maybe that was AG, I forget...

Uhh... No. Abdullah looked extremely explosive on punt returns. I was thinking Turner is the guy I would like to see return punts and kickoffs.
