if we play pitt, i hope they get trev alberts and mark may to call the game. those guys had such a good rapport with one another.
Trev would talk him right out of the booth. Trev's football knowledge >>>>>>>>>>>> Mark May's football knowledge.
i know i was being sarcastic. and i would not call what ever mark may possess as football knowledge. maybe, 'knowledge of how to raise one's voice'.

Little Caesars: Temple (MAC No. 1) vs. Iowa State (Big Ten No. 8*)

iowa state in the big ten eh?

I think what they mean is that it is supposed to be the bowl game for the #8 team in the Big 10 but I am assuming that they do not think the Big 10 will get 8 teams in and therefore will go to a bowl eligible team from another conference. I havent looked at who is and isnt bowl eligible in Big 10 so just a guess

Texas has three games left and needs to win two of them for bowl eligibility, and the remaining opponents are Oklahoma State, Florida Atlantic, and Texas A&M. I predict a 5-7 finish.

When was the last time a team played for a NC and had a losing season the next year?

We're also going to have to lose to a top-ten team, and in a close or at the least very exciting game.
Like the CCG last year. Wait.
Last year isn't a good example because of our three previous losses. Had we beaten VT and ISU, even with the Texas Tech loss and the Texas loss in the CCG, we would have been strongly considered. We were very marketable after the CCG, not just because we travel well, but because the whole nation was buzzing about that one second put back on the clock, and Suh's demolition of the Texas O Line.

This year I think we could sneak in with two losses if the circumstances are similar to last year's CCG.

But screw that - let's just win the Big XII and put speculation to rest. Lots easier that way.
