Right but I wouldn't down play the flu either. I had the flu a few weeks before Christmas that got me sick for 3 days and causing me to miss two days of work (sunday-tuesday) ....it can be really nasty. Just go watch the video of the Flu game and see how much MJ struggled in that game to stand up but yet put up 38 points.huskerjock the rest of those are fine and made me smirk a little but i hope you realize that playing with the flu is nothing like a cramp right?
Don't forget about this:So could someone subjectively explain to me the reason for all the hate?![]()

Also, I like Kobe and MJ.
I don't disagree with your point - you can't do much once your body gives out.Dehydration is the kryptonite to even elite athletes. Anyone can clamor that he should have overcome this mentally and inserted himself back into the game. If you are saying that, you obviously have never been dehydrated. Since his trainers know this is a problem, we can be sure they are doing everything possible to prevent it.
Agreed. Lebron is a flopper, not a flapper.by saying he has a vagina. Thanks.
Most of the season is played during cooler weather, though maybe not so much in Miami but most cities it could be freezing outside and he isn't using up fluids during the day. Now however it is summertime and if he doesn't pay attention during the day and hydrate properly he is already in fluid debt by gametime. Some athletes sweat more than others during the same workout. My son could lose 8-10 pounds during 2-adays for football. He had to drink all evening till bedtime to put fluids back in his body.I don't disagree with your point - you can't do much once your body gives out.Dehydration is the kryptonite to even elite athletes. My question is why does it keep happening to him? Do you know any other player in any major sport who's had this happen more than once in the last 10 years? I can't think of any.
He was quoted as saying this is a problem that's dogged him since high school and that he's had specialists try to figure out what the problem is and they never have found anything wrong. He said he drank so much during the game that his stomach couldn't take anymore. I don't know where SI put the story, but I'm paraphrasing because I couldn't find it.Most of the season is played during cooler weather, though maybe not so much in Miami but most cities it could be freezing outside and he isn't using up fluids during the day.
