At a cabin in Aspen CO during the Wake Forest game in 2005. My sister decided she needed to get married that day and didnt care it was a husker weekend. I watched the game up until 5 minutes before then sprinted down to were the ceremony was. I got chewed out because I wasnt there for all the pre wedding stuff.... jeez I was only a usher.
The strangest place I have ever watched a Husker game was at Baylor in 2009. Cody Green played most of the game and the stadium was more than half red. The stadium probably only had 30,000 fans in it. We bought random tickets but were able to sit in the very front row in the end zone. Of course that is unheard of at Memorial stadium so it was strange. During the 3rd quarter we were up something like 17-0 when the really weird part started. Someone started doing our cheers in the stadium. HUSKER!!!! POWER!!!! Then it got a little crazier. We started doing the WAVE in Baylor's stadium. Can you imagine another team coming to Memorial and doing loud cheers and the wave! Talk about strange. I will never forget it.
Also went to the Texas A&M game last year. Pretty loud. Bad officiating seen first hand on one pass interference that wasn't (on us) and one that was (on them) that didn't get called.
I guess I'll put strangest place I didn't watch a Husker game. My brother scheduled his pirate-themed wedding on the day of the 2009 Virginia Tech game. (There wasn't any other option. Talk Like A Pirate Day only falls on a Saturday once every 7 years). I watched the first half of the game at the hotel before heading over. The cousins and my immediate family (all dressed as pirates) spent the first hour of the wedding hovering over the guy who was getting text updates on his phone. The wedding was so much fun I wasn't sad for more than 5 minutes. I've actually only seen about 30 seconds of the second half of that game and I think I'm glad I didn't watch it live.
