Saw on Cavanaugh's twitter that Nebraska hired Mark Philipp from USC, has ties to Oregon State, can't post link as I am at work....

Looks like a Polynesian badass. All I could find googling is he is one of 8 assistant s&c coaches under ivan Lewis.

Anyone know more?

He was at Oregon state at one point, I also googled his name and it has him listed but nothing under his bio. I think he may have been a D tackle at Southern Illinois, must have really shed the weight after his playing days.

After doing some research it appears he has a strong relationship with Riley. He obviously knows how to put on a little mass that we could use on the OL

If this is the case I am all for it. He is a younger guy and from various pictures like the one above he seems to have a lot of intensity which would be great to bring to the program.
