Student Section Has Something Planned

Yep. It looked awesome. Huge banner, cut to fit the stadium.

My brothers and dad were there--said the stadium was literally rocking.

Great job Memorial.

 
You guys missed the mess up though. They had a miami logo under the welcome sign before they held up the rest. Then they tore it in half, but they miss timed it.

The rest looked bad a$$ though.

Really nice work by the student section. You know you did it right when even the messageboard whiners all give you props. That was super cool to see.

I saw that pretty clearly. They seemed to time it pretty well.

For a bunch of people spread all over that section, with minimal choreography and planning time, they did fantastic.

After that, they were among the loudest people in that stadium, easily audible over the rest of the crowd - like a megaphone over rush hour traffic.

I was very impressed with the students tonight. That's the best I've seen out of that section, maybe ever. They were a force all night.

 
Those delay of game penalties when they started drives right in front of us - bring it closer, guys. Keep coming back... God tonight was fun.

 
Glad you posted it. I saw the skull and crossbones and worst nightmare, but missed the Welcome To. Makes it a lot better. I know they continuously mentioned how loud it was. And that it was as loud at the end as it was at the start. Great effort by all that attended.

 
Incredible atmosphere tonight. Kudos to you if you were there.

I think this game is gonna have a place alongside the 1992 Halloween Buffalo massacre as among the handful of most hostile Husker crowds ever.... especially given the chippiness that enveloped the second half.

When I saw it on TV I was immediately fired up...awesomeness.

 
Watched on TV...they actually did a good job of getting the camera on it. The waving of the main banner at times made it look like the skull was talking trash. Loved it....
