Part of that is a trick of how QB rushing stats are calculated. Sacks are counted against rushing yards, not passing yards. Lee rushed for over 300 yards last year, but was sacked so often that he lost half his rushing total.
Nobody is EVER going to confuse Lee's rushing ability with Martinez'. Taylor is clearly in a completely different category than Lee. But that doesn't take away what Lee did for us last year.
EDIT - and to further illustrate that point, Taylor's rushing total for these three games has already eclipsed Lee's for all of last year:
Martinez, Taylor - 3GM, 40 carries, 421 yards, 8 TDs, 10.53 AVG, 140.33 YPG
There's no comparison. Martinez will easily have 1,000 yards rushing this year. Amazing.
