Igetbored and Knapp I can see both of your points. Sometime when you put out those lead statement they prepare people for something you might not want to hear. For instance anytime someone says No offense or With all due respect. It is usually followed by a comment that with out those statement would most defiantly be found disrespectful.

Just my opinion TIFWIW. (Free)

 
Just something to ponder: Would any of you would preface, "I hate The View," with, "I'm not a misogynist?" If "The View" is not a good enough example, insert your own, whatever.
