Heisman Trophy Winner
I did an informal survey because I was curious what other people thought. The results were surprising.
Missouri Fans: They like Suh. A few think he was a dirty player but most think it was a classy gesture by a classy guy.
Colorado Fans: See above. Most seemed impressed and wished CU had NFL players who would give back to the program.
KSU Fans: None found.
Kansas Fans: (My favorite.) The Nebraska athletic department is in serious financial trouble because of Carl Pelini's alleged dalliances. The booster husband and the woman's father were both major boosters. Suh's donation will not even begin to cover the loss . . . and NU athletics will face serious financial problems.
Iowa State Fans: (My second favorite.) Suh is just repaying the university for all of the money they spent covering up his drunk driving accidents. Also, one poster commented that Suh's donation pushed NU over the line from "almost ridiculously overfunded" well into "ridiculously overfunded" territory.
Texas Fans: Classy move. Should have won the Heisman.
Oklahoma Fans: McCoy is still better.
Anyways, feel free to add to this. I just googled "Suh 2.6 million" and most message boards had a thread about it.
